Community Service

I participate in a lot of community service in my free time. Specifically, I have been apart of a club at Stony Brook University since freshman year called Alternative Spring Break Outreach (ASBO). I eventually ended up joining the executive board of ASBO as secretary of the club as well.

ASBO is a service learning/ community service club which does a lot of local community service around the Suffolk County area in the Fall semester, and in the Spring semester they do a big alternative spring break trip (hence the name) where they fly out to a different state to do a week of community service (e.g. Disaster Relief).

The above is an example of a Spring Break Trip where we flew out to Houston to help rebuild homes in areas affected by hurricanes.
