I am a PhD student at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) in the group of Prof. Julian Fischer.
The goal of my PhD is to rigorously justify approximative descriptions for a selection of models with randomness on a microscopic scale.
The models I work on include:
diffusing particle systems with smooth interaction (fluctuating hydrodynamics, Dean-Kawasaki equation),
forced mean curvature flow with random obstacles (stochastic homogenisation),
the micromagnetic energy for composite materials (stochastic homogenisation).
General research interests: PDEs, Stochastic Analysis, Calculus of Variations, Geometric Analysis.
