I updated the MED ID application and now my data is not showing on my watch.

With the release of Fitbit's operating system 4.0, I was forced to change the way the data is saved to your watch from the mobile device. Some customers have contacted me stating that with the update it has cleared the settings on their watch.

First I want to say, I apologize for this, however there was no way to avoid this. There are two methods to putting the data back on your watch.

METHOD 1

**Re-Enter the data in the application settings.**

1. Open the MED ID application on your watch.
2. Go into the MED ID settings on your mobile device.
3. Select the field that needs data transferred. If data exists, backspace over the data and tap the Save button.
4. Enter the new data into the field and click the Save button.
5. Check the watch to ensure the data has been replaced. If it has, proceed to repeat the process for each field. If not, proceed to METHOD 2.

METHOD 2

**Remove MED ID and re-install MED ID**

1. On your mobile device, launch the Fitbit application.
2. At the top of the screen, tap on your account profile.
3. In the Devices section, tap on your watch.
4. Tap on the Apps button.
5. Tap on MED ID and then tap the uninstall button.
6. On your watch, go into Settings --> About. Scroll to the bottom of the list and tap on Shutdown to shutdown your watch.
7. Shut down and re-start your mobile device. (This ensures that any data in memory will be released)
8. Restart your watch and mobile device.
9. Install the MED ID application again. Once installed, OPEN THE MED ID APPLICATION. (The service that transfers the data only runs when the app is open. Failure to do this will result in the data not moving to the watch.)
10. Enter your data back into each field.
11. Check the watch to ensure that the data has successfully transferred.

I installed the Stats with MED ID watch face and get an error stating I need to install the MED ID app.

The MED ID application works in conjunction with the Stats with Med ID watch face, but are two separate applications.
