JOLT — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
App: JOLT (com.joltgame.jolt)
This Privacy Policy describes how the JOLT mobile game ("JOLT", "the app", "we")
handles information. Short version: JOLT does not collect, store off your device,
transmit, or share any personal data whatsoever. Gameplay works offline.
Information we collect
None. JOLT has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no
game server. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts,
device identifiers, or any usage data.
Microphone
JOLT requests the microphone permission to power the optional "Shout" and
"Hush" voice commands and the sensor calibration preview. Daily Jolt does not
use the microphone. Audio is analysed in real time on your device only to
measure loudness (how loud or quiet the room is). Audio is never recorded, saved,
or transmitted anywhere, and no audio ever leaves your phone. If you deny the
microphone permission, the game simply plays with the remaining commands.
Motion and proximity sensors
JOLT reads the accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensor to detect physical
gestures (shake, tilt, flip, cover). These readings are used for gameplay and
calibration, in real time, on your device. They are never saved or transmitted.
Data stored on your device
JOLT saves your game progress locally on your device (high score, stats, settings,
daily streak). This information stays on your device, is not accessible to us, and
is removed if you uninstall the app.
App updates
On Google Play installations, JOLT can ask Google Play to check for and install
app updates. Game progress, audio, and sensor readings are not sent as part of
this check.
Children's privacy
JOLT is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from
anyone, including children.
