Our goal is to inspire and generate compassionate conversation among White people surrounding issues of racial injustice
Provide opportunities for Whites to examine white privilege and systemic racism by participating in conversations, asking questions and allowing for growth.
Encourage the concept of personal reparations through investment in groups and causes working toward equity.
Promote ongoing, long term, anti-racist collaboration and education.
There is this ebb and flow to growth as a human. You can go from teacher to novice so fast. What I need from white allies is for them to learn “tracking” so well on this subject matter that they can walk the trail with their eyes closed. I need expert trackers, who became experts by examining their own thinking and history. And I need them to lead the less experienced folks.

If we can get people to embrace educating themselves rather than resisting information that can disrupt their pleasure, then I think we would really get actual change that we need in society.
Jacqueline Stewart
“Resistance is NOT a one lane highway. Maybe your lane is protesting, maybe your lane is organizing, maybe your lane is counseling, maybe your lane is art activism, maybe your lane is surviving the day. Do NOT feel guilty for not occupying every lane. We need all of them.
First Tenant: Attempt to do no more harm than has already been done
Second Tenant: Accept the fact that you will break Tenant 1. You can’t do this work without making mistakes no matter your intentions.
Third Tenant: Forgive yourself, don’t over apologize…and move on. We have lots of work to do.
Fourth Tenant: The joy that comes from a group of people from multiple perspectives all coming together for a cause greater than themselves is the intrinsic reward of the work.
