Oh my gosh it's a boy. That's what my parents said when I was born. I was born on Monday June 7th 2004. I weighed 8 pounds 3oz and my parents said it was the happiest day of their lives. Being the first born is always special because your parents have never had an experience like it. I have a special bond with my mom because when my dad died we were all by ourselves. We moved in with my grandparents because my fathers death was so hard on my mom. It gave us a bond that will never be broken and it is very special. My mom remarried to Tony and then tony raised me ever since. They also blessed me with two sisters. Our family is very complex because of everything that has happened but overall we are doing good.
I am currently a Senior at Nemaha Central High School. I will graduate in May and then go off to college. High School has gone by so fast. Everyone says it goes by in a flash but I didn’t believe them until now. I am an average student that gets mostly B’s and behaves in class. With only one semester left in my high school career I have tried to make the most of my high school years. I have been in many clubs including FBLA, SADD, and Choir. I have also participated in many sports including Baseball, basketball, and football. I like all sports but my favorite by far is baseball there is no other sport that compares. It has been my favorite sport ever since I was born after a long summer day. Getting to play baseball has always been my favorite thing to do. It's the only sport that I have done all 4 years of high school. I was nominated for snowball king and that is because I am very respectful to the teachers and it shows. It was an honor being nominated even though I didn't win. High school is definitely an important time in our lives. It makes us who we are and we have to make one of the hardest decisions in our lives at a young age and that is figuring out what you want to do with your life after high school. Make sure to never take high school for granted because you will look back and miss getting to hang out with your friends and making memories every day. I have made sure that I have taken classes that will allow me to go to college and succeed.
I plan on going to Highland Wamego for my first two years and then transfer to Kansas State to get a bachelor's degree in Marketing. I have always loved advertising and behind the scenes marketing. It's all about how you can get your product out to the world and show people why your product matters. I plan on working at Flint Hills Beverage in Manhattan and then moving somewhere. I want to experience the world before I have kids. I want to go somewhere other than Seneca and see if I like living in a big city better than a small town but I want my kids to get the small town high school experience just like I had. I wouldn’t trade growing up in a small town for anything. Everyone knows everyone and that's the way I loved growing up so I want my kids to be able to experience the same thing. I plan on moving back to Seneca when I am older and starting a family. I would also like to take over the family business when I move back to Seneca.
