Academia
Beyond research, I'm committed to contributing to the academia and the growth of science. I actively mentor undergraduate and honours students, guiding them through hands-on research experiences and helping them build critical thinking needed for science.
Also, as the president of the Biochemistry Postgraduate society NOTDRS at Monash BDI, I've had the opportunity to represent student voices, foster collaboration between departments and organise academic and networking initiatives that strengthen the scientific community.
My ultimate aim is to make science accessible to everyone. I believe that curiosity knows no boundaries, and that no one should be held back from pursuing their passion because of any barriers. Thats my PERSONAL MISSION!
Outside Academia
Beyond the laboratory and academic environment, I am passionate about building inclusive communities and creating opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to thrive.
As a member of the Monash Sport Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Community Reference Group, I contribute to initiatives that foster a culture of equity, diversity, and accessibility across Monash Sport and recreation programs at Monash. In this role, I help advise and support strategies that enhance inclusivity within Monash Sport ensuring that individuals from all backgrounds feel welcomed, represented, and empowered to participate.
I believe that sport, much like science, has the power to bring people together, break down barriers, and create meaningful connections!
