Current Fandom Profile Picture:
Hello, it is me, Jhonny2339. I am just your average internet user who is under the spectrum, I did not really think about saying that. Honestly, I like to do casual things, like creating articles, talking, and discussing things, and other activities.
I am also interested in creepypastas, and I happened to write some. I have written a lot of stories, but that is something for another time. Either way, I do write things from time to time, but I wanted to go over somethings that are controversial here.
First off, I will explain something that has been on my back for a while, and that is how I accept what people can, or cannot do with my stories / art.
My stories are primary creepypasta-based (IF you are already wondering) and I will only post my creepypasta's on sites that are targeted to those kinds of fiction. Now, I will list some things I am okay or not okay with when you get inspired by my creepypasta's or stories.
(Creepypasta content) To put it in short, I'm totally okay with you narrating, reading, or reviewing my Creepypastas or stories, I don't even mind you uploading them to other platforms like YouTube, heck, I wouldn't mind if you planned on monetizing them. Other than that, I would at least appreciate you're uploads about my Creepypasta's/Stories because it counts as spreading the word, if you know what I mean. However, I will go over some things that I view differently that relate to YouTube (& social media) and my Writings, but I'm totally okay with you uploading your narrations of my writings, so I am fine with that.
(Retake content) I view retakes a little differently than narrations or reviews, the reason being that it revolves in a different approach that I'll explain. You see, Narrations, reviews, commentaries, are informative content, content made to inform the viewers about something, and I'm all right with a YouTube video informing people about my work. Heck, I don't even mind how you show your opinions on my writings, as long as you are not targeting harassment towards myself, then you can go for it. But I do recommend you at least give some good advice for me in the future, I am still a new writer, so I am trying to improve as long as I can. On the other hand, retaking content "In video formation" is taking something that already exists and creating your own twist to it. It could include different plot elements, alternate versions of figures or characters, analog horror, etc. (For example, vibing leaf's retakes of red mist and Mouse.AVI.) I am okay with you uploading your retake videos to YouTube, Twitch, ETC. I do recommend you at least give me credit. However, if you plan on monetizing your retake videos, then I'm not sure. I'm somewhat fine with YouTube Monetization "Like advertisements or maybe donations I guess." but if your making products, "Online or physical" that are based solely off my stories, then I have a problem with that. I would rather just tell you to NOT monetize your videos if they are retaking my stories, because at this point it just doesn't sound like fair use to me. Unless it is a straight up parody, then I guess that can slide.
(Fan projects) Fan games, Roblox games, etc. Again, I'm okay with you creating and sharing fan games, if you're crediting me and you aren't monetizing them, HOWEVER, I must explain Roblox games.. Roblox games "Especially ones that either recreate events or elements of my Creepypasta's" are “Alright” in my opinion. However, Roblox Developers can easily monetize their games using game passes or developer products. (You know, those popups that ask you to buy things for a certain amount of Robux, often to use for a one-time purchase.) Also, developers can also convert Robux to money using DevX. Which counts as developers making actual money off the things I've created and published. Roblox Developers can also attain Robux through premium payouts, (Which is where the amount of time a player who is a subscriber of the Roblox Premium subscription plays the game, they will be given a certain amount of Robux to cashout that reelevates to the amount of time said player was spending playing the game.) To me, fan games on Roblox (Even with or without game passes) is still a hard topic to explain. It’s stealing and making profits, (Also known as infringement.) Also, if you are planning to add an event or character from one of my stories/creepypastas, please credit me, and also change the character some bit. For example, if you are planning to be using Alexander "From: The 1998 Roblox Prototype" then I recommend you change up his persona a bit, (I mean the form which he takes on when he's possessing the DVD.) Like changing his name, color scheme, etc. I rather not see others completely stealing my artwork or images to use in their projects, especially without crediting me sincerely. And it's really bad when people make profit from those artworks. And with that, don't be a weirdo. (I'm ok with indie games recreating the cursed games or videos featured in my stories, it's special to me because It's fan art, but please do not monetize it unless you've gotten permission from me.) If you are writing reworked versions of my creepypasta's, I am fine with that, as long as you credit me and (Maybe) Ask for my permission. If I do not respond, either I do not care or I'm inactive.
(Merchandises) NO MERCHANDISES, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. PLEASE NO! PLUS, NO PRODUCTS! AND THIS INCLUDES PHYSICAL OBJECTS, OR ONLINE PRODUCTS LIKE BITCOIN OR NFTS, OR SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES, ALSO INCLUDED ARE PLUSH TOYS OR ACTION FIGURES, OR BOOKS JUST DON'T. Also, I rather you be careful with making fan games, especially when the creepypasta's I create are based on popular IPs. Also, don't plagiarize my work, because it's legit a terrible thing to do.
(Conclusion) In the end, if you are not sure about if you should be using my Creepypasta's, Writings, stories, or artworks for online stuff (Like I've mentioned before; Fan games, Retakes; or cameo appearances; ETC) Then please message me on my profile wall. Thank you. Honestly, just always credit me, I don't like to delve into copyright and right's management, so please for the love of God, always credit me dearly, or just don't do it at all. As I've said, I'm totally fine with online commentaries or narrations (THIS INCLUDES ANYTHING INFORMATIVE OR OPINIONS), even if they're monetized, but I rather just keep it to that and not go any further. Also, don't plagiarize my work.
