This is the way I do it - John McLaughlin's instructional DVD released in 2004
This excellent DVD set came with links to transcriptions and tabs of the examples and demos.
Unfortunately, the transcriptions are poor (raw from a guitar-to-MIDI stream apparently) and the supplied tablatures bearing little relation to how John actually plays things.
I've re-done all the exercises and some demos, adding the fingering John uses on the DVD.
Not including audio as it would be quite rude to publish such copyrighted material, but you own this DVD set, right? If not, search "john mclaughlin this is the way i do it dvd" and follow the breadcrumbs.

Going through and updating these, with tabs, finding some mistakes to correct, undoubtedly creating new ones. This is a long and tedious process so bear with me.
