I am an applied and computational topologist working in the field of topological data analysis (TDA). My research lies at the intersection of pure and applied mathematics.
As an applied mathematician and data scientist, I use topological and geometric techniques to draw conclusions about data in a variety of scientific contexts, including neuroscience and chemistry.
I also work to advance theoretical tools and frameworks available to applied topologists by establishing connections between topics in TDA and other branches of mathematics, including geometric topology, convex geometry, and equivariant homology.
