Wood as canvas

• Every piece of wood has it's own fingerprint.

• Cheap, having large sheets of wood cut in to smaller pieces annoys the the people at the DIY shop... But just smile and say thank you after keeping the sawing guy busy again for 45 minutes.

• Robust, you can throw it in a corner without it breaking.

• Gives a nice contrast with a white wall.

Hole in a canvas

• Gravity will align the piece as the artist intended. 

• You cannot be annoyed that the piece is not level, saves the owner having to buy a spirit level.

• It brings happy chaos.

Laziness

Laziness is:

•  intelligently managing the energy you have. 

• is maximizing output for a given input. 

• ensuring that you have a process to make the best of the flames that occasionally flare up before they die out again.
