Peter James (Born Guy Kent - son of Audrey Kent and John Thewles) came to the UK from Seattle - and on 8th September 2019 met up with our brother Edmund Thewles (son of Roo Thewles and john Thewles) in York, in order to visit the grave of John Thewles.

In their view the gravestone - first erected circa 9th May 1953 - around 65 years previously - had at some point been renewed.

It seemed to them in good - or better - condition than they had remembered.
