John’s songs and tunes reflect the diversity of music influences from a lifetime of playing in Folk and Irish Country and Rock, Bands.

He has played at Cambridge Folk Festival and Ely Folk Festival UK and Fairbridge, Denmark, Folk in the Forest,Albany Folk festivals, Illawarra and the Wintermoon Festivals in Australia.

As part of the Iceni Duo in Norfolk England he brought traditional English Music to Pubs and Clubs throughout East Anglia.

Songs of Social Comment, Love songs, Comedy songs Chorus songs and Traditional songs and tunes from The UK and Australia. All played with a contemporary feel but with roots firmly in the tradition.

 His 4th CD This Pilgrims Progress contains all self penned songs and tunes.

Two songs from the Album have reached number 5 and number 10 in the Comedy and Instrumental sections of the Australian Song writing Association Competition.
