Delaware Valley’s mission emphasizes community partnership, maximizing student potential, and fostering lifelong learning. In my classroom, that translates to consistent routines, high expectations, and meaningful musical experiences that help students build skill, confidence, and responsibility over time. The district’s shared expectations (The DV Five) reinforce the kind of learning environment I work to maintain each day.
K–5 General Music Teacher & Choir Director
In my role as K–5 General Music Teacher and Choir Director, I design and deliver instruction that builds students’ musicianship through singing, movement, listening, playing, and basic literacy. I focus on sequenced skill-building, clear routines, and a classroom environment where every student can participate confidently. My work also includes rehearsal planning and performance preparation for the 4-5 choir and for seperate concert performances for Grades K-3.
