⋮ John Jay Soccer - Summer Soccer

≡ General Information

The John Jay Summer Soccer Program is designed for rising 10th through 12th graders who are serious about competing at the Varsity level. This is not a recreational program—it’s an opportunity for dedicated players to elevate their game through structured Summer Training and competitive, Varsity level Summer League matches. If your goal is just to "play in some games," then this program simply is not for you. That mindset reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of its purpose—to develop and prepare players for the upcoming high school fall soccer season. Summer Training sessions take place at John Jay High School on both turf and grass fields, focusing on speed, agility, and fitness, along with technical ball work, tactical concepts, and small-sided, possession-oriented games. Summer League Games are held at Lakeland High School and Ossining High School. While returning Varsity players will be prioritized for game selections, all registered players will participate fully in training sessions and will be guaranteed a roster spot for at least three (3) Summer League matches. Each player will receive a reversible John Jay Soccer pinnie, which must be worn to all training sessions and games.
