PhD defense 30 Nov. The day before organized and attended a mini-symposium at Uppsala University.
Summer school: Bandstructure meets quantum field theory. Attended one week summer school in Vienna.
RSPt workshop. Attended workshop about the locally developed DFT+DMFT program package RSPt. Presented a talk with the title "L-edge spectroscopy of transition metal oxides". Responsible for the hands-on tutorials. Chaired one scientific session.
Magnetism conference. Attended and presented a poster at the conference Magnetism 2018 in Manchester.
CoTXS-meeting. Main organizer for a two days mini-workshop for 40 people at Uppsala University about theoretical spectroscopy. Invited speakers, organized the scientific program, ordered food and made a website. I also gave a presentation about L-edges for Mo doped LaFeO3.
Research visit in Strasbourg. One week research visit to Prof. Mebarek Alouani to discuss how to implement the dipole transition operator in the context on DFT+DMFT.
CoTXS-meeting. Attended mini-conference organized by CoTXS and gave a 15 minutes talk "Anderson impurity model parameterization for XAS" containing work in progress of CaTiO3 and double-counting considerations of the multipole part of the Coulomb interaction.

PhD school. Attended the two-week PhD school SUCCESS-2017 about UV and X-ray spectroscopies of strongly correlated electron systems in Les Houches, France. Gave a 15 minutes talk about current XAS study of four TMOs.
DFT conference. Attended the conference 17th international conference on Density-Functional Theory and its Applications in Tällberg, Sweden.
SCES conference in Prague. Attended the conference International conference on Strongly Correlated Electron Systems in Prague and presented a poster containing results from two published articles about analytical continuation.
Research visit in Duisburg. Visited Prof. Heiko Wende's experimental group in Duisburg to start a collaboration of XAS for molecules and interface calculations. Also gave a 30 minutes talk, showing results from an approach of combining DFT with MLFT to predict XA spectra of strongly correlated materials.
CoTXS-meeting. Attended the two days long meeting and gave a 30 minutes talk with the title "L-edge spectroscopy of transition metal oxides".
DPG conference in Dresden. Attended the 5 days DPG conference and gave a 15 minutes talk about how to improve the accuracy and the robustness of the Padé approximant method for analytical continuations of noisy data.
Autumn school: From atomistic simulations to universal model Hamiltonians. Three weeks school in Trieste, focusing on current methods in the condensed matter community. Presented poster about averaging Padé approximants for analytical continuation of noisy data.
Summer school: Introduction to high performance computing. Two weeks school at KTH. Attended lectures and exercise sessions about supercomputer architecture, hardware, scientific computing, OpenMP, GPU and especially MPI.
Introduction to the applications of ab-initio methods in spectroscopy. Four days hands-on school in Pilzen, trying program packages: Abinit, SPRKKR and Quanty. Presented poster about analytical continuation.
Autumn School on Correlated Electrons: DMFT at 25: Infinite Dimensions. One week with theoretical and experimental lectures in Julich. Presented poster about analytical continuation.
LMF/QSGW Hands-On Course. Three days school about Quasi-particle Self-consistent GW method and how to use it in practice.
