Welcome to my website!
I am an applied environmental economist with a focus on fiscal and climate policy. My research interests lie at the intersection of finance, environmental and public economics.
I am an Assistant Professor of Economics and Sustainability on tenure-track at the Hertie School. I am also affiliated with the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) and Oxford Net Zero at the University of Oxford, where I completed a postdoc in 2023/2024.
I defended my PhD in Economics at Technical University Berlin and the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (now part of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research) in 2023.
