Joe's Journey

With lots of regret in our hearts we inform you that our dear friend Joe was diagnosed with stage four Myxoid Liposarcoma cancer. Joe was diagnosed on February 3rd, 2021 and has been undergoing vigorous and aggressive treatment since. Myxoid Liposarcoma is one of the most rare forms of cancer and it has unfortunately spread throughout his entire body.

Many of you know Joe as the most loving, caring man, who has dedicated his life to helping others. As a beloved father, son to an 8 year old boy, entrepreneur, personal trainer, and friend to many, his personality is contagious and he has always had a way for putting a smile on everyone’s face. We’re asking for everyone to give back as much as feasibly possible.

Joe needs significant financial assistance to cover medical expenses that insurance does not cover, as well as repairs and remodeling to make his home handicap accessible. Additionally, Joe is well known in the fitness world for his small business, Get Fit Together Training. Not only was GFT impacted by the current COVID-19 Pandemic, but by Joe's current health conditions as well. All money collected will be placed in a trust managed by his lawyer and power of attorney.

Joe can feel the love and prayers of his friends and family. His faith is strong and his humor is intact. We are all proud of him facing mortality with grace, reflection, determination, and curiosity.
