I have found educational board games to be excellent instructional tools. They increase student motivation because they incorporate play and competition. Board games require active participation, which helps students engage more deeply with the content. Students love the social interaction and as their teacher, I love the fact that board games require the students to exercise critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Each board game is $8.00 and comes with teacher instructions, answer keys, all the components needed to construct the game board (make as many copies as needed for your class!), the playing cards, and student worksheets (again, make as many copies as you need!) to accompany the game.
