I am an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Salzburg and a Research Fellow at the Liechtenstein Institute. My research is in Applied Microeconometrics, with a focus on measuring behavioral responses in Public Economics, Labor Markets, and Health. I gained previous research experience at UC Berkeley, Stockholm University, and at the Institute of Advanced Studies (IHS). I am an affiliate member of NoCeT (Norwegian Centre for Taxation) and CESifo Network.
My research has been published in international top journals such as the Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Labor Economics, Nature Communications, and others. My work has also received a number of awards, including the Theodor-Körner-Preis (2020) .
