About

Joel Kellar is currently a fourth-year student at the University of Iowa. He has a double major in journalism and communication studies. 

He is currently working as a Student Production Assistant with Big Ten Network+ and as a Live Event Production Assistant with Iowa Athletics. He also reports for the Solon Economist, Mount Vernon-Lisbon Sun, and Daily Iowan TV. 

He has a passion for storytelling and is focused more on sports. He enjoys many forms of storytelling and journalism, such as written pieces, podcasts, play-by-play, videography, and photograpy. Joel prides himself in being curious and having a great work ethic.

Outside of working, Joel loves to golf, try new restaurants, and go to games when he's not working them!
