Other things that I have done

I have been using the single camera and I am enjoying working with it. The task involves recording the speaker on stage, panning, tilting and zooming, and am familiar with the multi-camera system. The videos are broadcast to the world-wide audience live on different channels. I also use a roaming camera to capture the instruments live.

Lighting is one of my favourite things to do. Although I am not an expert at where I should be placing the lights, I know which colour goes with the background and when to change them. As a lighting operator, I have the opportunity to be creative with the different colour panels and lighting to create a suitable ambience in accordance to the activity on stage like sermons, announcements or worship.

I love editing videos, an example is shown in the first page. Editing sermons to post on the church’s website. I have worked with my service coordinator to understand the editing requirements to present the content in the relevant way. This includes adding captions, improving audio-video quality, embedding pictures when required.
