Joel ELLISON

My name is Joel Ellison, and I am a Sport & Recreation Management major at James Madison University in the Hart School of Hospitality and Management. I also have minors in Sports Communication and Business and expect to graduate in May 2026. I am extremely passionate about sports media and the marketing practices involved.

Currently, I work as a Campus Outreach Coordinator for Sleeper Fantasy Football, where I lead promotional campaigns tailored to the JMU community> There I enhance app engagement through effective design and outreach strategies. My role has deepened my skills in targeted marketing and creative media, and I hope to continue to expand my knowledge in this field.
