Designing using the sheet metal function:
In this assignment, we learned how to design parts in Fusion 360 to be made out of sheet metal. I learned how to make 2D tool paths to be used on a water jet to cut the part. After it was cut, I proceeded to use a sandblaster to clean all the rust and imperfections off the metal before welding. Then I bent the part to the predesigned shape, and using the tig welding method I welded all the sides.
The dice was cut out of a sheet of 1/8 inch mild steel.
