I'm passionate about design, engineering, and connecting my work with purpose. I strive to design interdisciplinary projects, pulling inspiration and fabrication techniques from woodworking, metalworking, electronics, and computer-controlled machines such as 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutters.
3D printing and additive manufacturing have been long-lasting pursuits of mine in both my personal and professional aspirations. I am the current 3D Printing Supervisor at the Cal Poly machine shops. In this role, I'm directly involved with students and professors for advanced additive manufacturing consultations. I also oversee over 55 3D printers, including FDM, SLA, and continuous fiber composite machines. This position will continue to prepare me for engineering roles in the future and further develop my manufacturing and project management skills.
Serving Cal Poly’s machine shops as a shop technician, I have worked with countless students and professors to help them design and manufacture their projects. My experiences with Cal Poly's Baja SAE team have taught me a great deal about cooperative engineering and the collective design experience. I envision a future where I can advance my work in engineering alongside my values of collaboration and perseverance. With this in mind, I look forward to exploring the intersection between passion and purpose, and I look forward to seeing where it will take me.
