I am a third year PhD student and an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin. My research interests are in stochastic analysis, especially backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs). My advisor is Gordan Žitković. Before coming to Texas, I received my BA from Swarthmore College, where I studied math and computer science.

About me

I grew up in Norfolk, VA. My parents are both musicians, but I spent most of my childhood playing baseball. I went to undergrad at Swarthmore College, which is a small school just outside of Philadelphia. I loved Swarthmore, but I'm happy to have escaped the cold. I now live in Austin, TX with my girlfriend Alanna. In my free time, I like to try new BBQ restaurants in Austin. I also play basketball for the UT Austin math department's intramural team.
