When the pandemic began, I started sewing masks for friends and family. My BFF and her daughter found many businesses and organizations that could use some masks. So our group of about 6-7 seamstresses got to work! With many people donating cotton fabric, elastic, t shirt fabric and pipe cleaners, I sewed and gave away over 1,000 masks. It was a humbling, rewarding experience that I will never forget. Thank you to all who donated, distributed, gathered donations and helped in any way.
