JobBOT Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

Overview
JobBOT is a team management app for scheduling, inventory, jobs, notes, and timesheets. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is used.

Data We Collect
When you join a company in JobBOT, the following information is stored in Google Firebase (our cloud database): your display name, a randomly assigned anonymous device ID, your company name, and any content you create within the app including schedule entries, inventory records, job records, notes, and timesheet entries.

How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide the app's features to you and your team. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Firebase & Google
JobBOT uses Google Firebase for cloud storage and anonymous authentication. Firebase may collect technical information such as device type and app performance data. You can review Google's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Anonymous Authentication
JobBOT uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. No email address or password is required. A random ID is assigned to your device to identify you within your company workspace. This ID may change if you reinstall the app.

Data Retention
Your data remains in Firebase as long as your company workspace exists. Leaving a company removes your member record but does not delete content you created.

Children's Privacy
JobBOT is intended for use in a workplace setting and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
