my name is joão, i am a 23 year old photographer and this is my little internet archive.

i have no formal training* in photography, my academic background is in Law (Bachelor and Masters) where i research the intersection of copyright, image rights and data protection law.

for my photography i use Pentax film and digital cameras and Fujifilm digital cameras.

my preferred focal length is short telephoto ~85mm.

i like portraits and details.

*since march 2026 i have enrolled in Professional Photography classes at the Portuguese Institute of Photography, namely advanced courses in Studio and Portraiture.
