I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics from the State University of Londrina, and I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Brasilia. Currently, I serve as an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Business and Economics at Ibmec-DF.
During my undergraduate studies, I engaged in a Teaching Project focused on Macroeconomics and Income Distribution, working under the guidance of Professor Renato Sugahara for four years. In 2018, I began my Master’s degree and simultaneously worked part-time as a Sign Language Interpreter at the Leonardo Da Vinci University Center (Uniasselvi). In 2019, I relocated to Brasília, where I was co-supervised by Professor Joanilio Teixeira, ultimately completing my Master’s and then pursuing my Ph.D. Throughout my doctoral studies, I also had the opportunity to serve as an instructor for two courses, Development Economics (undergraduate level) and Quantitative Methods for Economists (Ph.D. level).
In my current role at Ibmec-DF, I teach various undergraduate courses including Linear Algebra, Dynamic Processes, Calculus II, Mathematics for Economists, and Microeconomics. Between 2021 and 2023, I held a temporary position at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), where I also took on administrative roles such as Coordinator for the "Employability of People with Disabilities" project and the Accessibility Core. I founded and presided over the “International Deaf Culture Diffusion Week” and coordinated economics events featuring researchers from the World Bank, the University of Brasilia, and the State University of Londrina.
At Ibmec-DF, I am also an active member of the collegial and NDE groups at this institution. Additionally, I have a post-doctoral degree at the University of Brasilia, where I taught Special Topics in Advanced Mathematics to the Ph.D. in Economics. Most recently was invited to join the World Bank Group as a Short-Term Consultant to assist with the development of the Omega model. Most recently, I have also contributed as a consultant at the Institute for Socioeconomic Studies.
As a researcher, I have been highly productive, presenting and publishing papers at both national and international conferences. My work has been featured in various peer-reviewed journals, including Metroeconomica, Journal of Post Keynesian Economics, Brazilian Journal of Political Economy, and Eruditio - World Academy of Art and Science, among others.
