JOANNE OCTAVE

Is a proud Haitian-American singer, actress, musician, and model. Originally from Massachusetts, she spent her childhood participating in every performance opportunity she was offered, from marching band to show choir to drama and acapella clubs. Upon graduating high school, she moved to New York to pursue a degree in Musical Theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, which she graduated from in 2023. Joanne has been in numerous theatre productions such as Once on this Island (Ti Moune), Sister Act (Deloris van Cartier), and most recently, Footloose (Rusty).  In April, she participated in the Black Box Mover's first annual choreography showcase, playing Joanne from RENT. Her short film debut TAG'D comes out later this year!
