No account. No sign-in. No personal information is collected by Juntar PDF from you as an app user.

Saved documents, recent files, favorites, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. This page explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your data.

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

Juntar PDF is built to help you view, manage, and edit PDF documents with confidence. We designed this app so you can merge, split, compress, convert, and organize PDFs — without creating an account, without signing in, and without sharing your personal contact details with us. Protecting your privacy is a core principle of this product.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following from you as an app user:

Your name

Your phone number

Your email address

Your home or mailing address

Your date of birth

Government identifiers (SSN, ID numbers, etc.)

Photos, contacts, or camera data (except images you explicitly select for conversion)

Precise GPS location

No sign-up, login, OTP verification, email verification, social login, or registration is ever required to use the app.

3. Information Stored On Your Device

To power your PDF management experience, Juntar PDF stores the following locally on your device only (Room database and DataStore preferences):

Recent and recently opened PDF files (file name, path, size, and page count)

Favorite documents

App settings (such as theme and language preferences)

PDF files you create or edit using app tools (saved in the app's private storage area)

This information is not uploaded to our servers and is not linked to your identity as an app user. Data you manage in the app remains on your device — we do not receive it as personal user profile data.

4. Local, On-Device Processing

Juntar PDF is designed for local processing wherever possible. Core features — including viewing PDFs, merging, splitting, compressing, converting images to PDF, rotating pages, adding watermarks, password protection, and file management — run on your device using locally stored data.

Your PDF documents and editing operations are not sent to our servers for storage or processing. You can work with your files offline after they have been opened or saved within the app.

An internet connection is needed only for optional features such as sharing the app, opening the Play Store rating page, or when you choose to share PDF files through other apps on your device.

5. Data Display and Sharing

PDF files you open are read from your device storage or from files you select through the Android system file picker.

If you share a PDF using your device's standard share options, that sharing is handled by your device and the app you choose — we do not receive copies of shared content unless you explicitly send it to us.

When you open a PDF from another app or tap an external link, that action is handled by your device and the respective platform — not by Juntar PDF collecting additional data from you.

6. Advertising

Juntar PDF displays advertisements through Google AdMob to help keep the app free to use. Ad formats may include banner ads and full-screen interstitial ads shown when you navigate between main sections.

Google and its advertising partners may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, approximate location (derived from IP address), app interactions with ads, and technical device data to deliver, measure, and improve ads. This data is handled according to Google's policies, not stored by us as a personal user profile.

You can limit ad personalization on your device through:

Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

7. Third-Party Services

Juntar PDF uses open-source PDF processing libraries (such as PDFBox Android) that run entirely on your device. We do not send your documents to third-party servers for processing.

Google AdMob is used to serve advertisements. We do not send your recent files, favorites, or app preferences to ad providers for storage.

When you tap "Rate App" or "Share App", you may be directed to the Google Play Store or your device's share menu. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

We do not send your document history to external services. When you use any external link or share a file, that action is handled by the respective platform.

8. Cookies and Tracking

The app itself does not use browser cookies. We do not operate our own analytics or cross-app tracking services within Juntar PDF.

Advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may use identifiers permitted by your device and Android settings to measure ad performance. We do not build personal profiles about you based on your in-app activity beyond what is required for ad delivery through AdMob.

Third-party websites or apps you interact with when sharing files may use their own tracking — please review their privacy policies separately.

9. Network and Permissions

The app requests only the permissions it needs to function:

Internet access — used for displaying advertisements through Google AdMob, sharing the app, and opening the Play Store listing

Storage / media access — requested before you select PDF files or images so you can merge, convert, and edit documents

Network state — used to check connectivity before loading ads and network requests

We do not request access to contacts, calendar, SMS, microphone, biometric authentication, or precise location. There is no sign-in or account permission prompt when you open the app.

Your locally saved documents and app data remain on your device during normal app use.

10. Data Security

Because we do not collect personal information or account credentials from you as an app user, there is no personal login profile that can be compromised on our servers. Your recent files, favorites, edited PDFs, and preferences remain on your device unless you explicitly share content outside the app.

App preferences are stored using DataStore on your device. Document history and favorites are stored using Room Database. You can clear all locally stored data at any time through your device settings.

11. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for personal, educational, and business PDF management. It is designed as a document utility and does not require personal information from children or adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Because we do not collect identifying information about you as an app user, there is no personal account or profile to delete on our side. You can fully reset your app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage:

Settings → Apps → Juntar PDF → Storage → Clear storage

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored recent files, favorites, created PDFs in app storage, and app preferences from the app's private storage area.

13. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be available within the app on this screen. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
