Individuals, RRP clubs, and show servers can get certified by JNEF through an application process. See below for more details.
Judges will undergo a certification exam and will be evaluated on their scoring of an equitation over fences round, a hunter under saddle class, and a jumper class. Courses will be given in advance to allow judges time to prepare their judging sheets/cards. Judges should be prepared to provide a link to the judging guidelines they will be following during the exam.

Instructors will complete a certification exam and will be evaluated on their organization and execution of their lesson plans. Instructors will be required to create lesson plans for 3 lessons: 1 equitation over fences lesson, 1 basic flat work lesson, and 1 jumper lesson. Instructors are expected to make their own courses and diagrams, if needed, for their lesson.

Servers must meet the following criteria:
- Been active for at least 2 months prior to applying
- Be professional and organized
- Host on average 2 shows per month
- Have clear judging guidelines (See an example of judging guidelines here)
- Have clear descriptions of divisions (Must include classes that are in the divisions & a brief description of said classes)
- Have a website that is kept up to date and is easy to navigate
After an application is approved, a JNEF official will audit at least 1 show to determine the professionalism, organization, and overall presentation of the show server.
