Adv. Hari Shankar Jain
Amidst the temple-mosque dispute in the country , the Gyanvapi Masjid case has brought two faces into the limelight . These names are- Hari Shankar Jain and Vishnu Shankar Jain . The main goal of the father-son duo and their duo is Hindu Rashtra . Both of them have till now fought 102 cases including Babri Masjid (Ayodhya) , Gyanvapi Masjid (Varanasi) , Taj Mahal (Agra) and Qutub Minar .
Hari Shankar Jain , a native of Prayagraj , started practicing law from the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court in 1978-79 . Later he went to the Supreme Court , till now he has fought more than 100 cases . Hari Shankar gained national recognition when he was appointed counsel for Hindu Mahasabha in the Ayodhya dispute in 1989 .
Hari Shankar Jain , 68 , with a thick beard and a tilak on his forehead , said that when I told my father that he had decided to fight the Ram Janmabhoomi case , my father did not eat food for two days . I decided to follow the path shown by my mother' My father was in the judicial service , but he was strongly against it . He wanted me to become a judge in the High Court .
Till the 2019 Supreme Court verdict , Ayodhya was a well-known name in TV debates on Ram Janmabhoomi issue . According to Champat Rai , vice-president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and general secretary of the temple trust Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra in Ayodhya , “Hari Shankar was an independent lawyer then . One day he went to the court and told the judge that the deity was hungry for the last eight days , the judge allowed us to perform the puja and this changed the course of the case irreversibly . After the 1993 victory , Hari Shankar became a part of the team .
Don't charge any money for legal battle . Hari Shankar said that the day we decide to take money for our services or keep an eye on any post , the purpose of Hindu welfare will be defeated .
Adv Vishnu Shankar Jain
Vishnu Shankar Jain (born on 9th October 1986) has seen his father fighting for Hindu Dharma and Sanatani values right from his childhood . He completed his law studies in 2010 and started practicing law under his father’s wings .
He started his career with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi case of Ayodhya , challenging the 2010 verdict of the Allahabad High Court in 2011 assisting his father Shri Hari Shankar Jain in the case .
In 2016 , he passed the exam of the advocate on record of the Supreme Court and registered his first appearance in the Supreme Court in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi case of Ayodhya in the year 2016 itself .
An instance that made Vishnu Shanker Jain a stronger person to legally fight for the rights of Hindus in 2013 when his father Shri Hari Shankar Jain fell critically ill and hospitalised . He had an asthmatic attack and was suffering from septicemia . It was indeed like a death bed for him . In that very condition Mr Jain reminded Vishnu not to forget to send the notice of the case of the ‘Teele wali masjid’ . If we miss the deadline , the case may be dismissed . In an hour of such an acute health emergency his commitment to the Dharmic cause shook Vishnu from inside . That day his resolve to fight for the Hindu cause got stronger . With God’s grace Shri Hari Shanker Jain recovered and resumed his normal routine with renewed vigour .
There are as many as 102 cases in which either or both of the father-son duo appeared for the Hindu sides before the court . The oldest of the cases dates back to 1990 . Many of the cases are decisively won by them . Some others are still going on in various courts . Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi‘s case at Mathura is one of the major ongoing cases in which they are representing the Hindu side .
The latest being the Shringar Gauri-Gyanvapi complex case demanding the right to pray at the Gyanvapi disputed site , representing five female petitioners in the lawsuit , which aims to restore the devotees’ right to pray . At the orders on said ongoing hearing the court ordered the survey and the videography of the disputed structure at the Gyanvapi complex in Varanasi , during which a Shivling was found .
This was nothing but a victory of sorts that made Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain’s name a household among the devotees of Kashi Vishwanath patiently waiting to reclaim the abode of their God .
With the blessing of none other than ‘Mahadev’ and his father Shri Hari Shankar Jain , Vishnu Shankar Jain is poised to achieve greater heights in his profession and life .
