Here are a few drawings and digital paintings that I created for my own lectures and publications, or for the use of others.

a simple gag: the old "evolution of man" series of drawings from hunched-over chimp to upright modern man and on to modern man who sits hunched over at a computer. I've added upright man walking and using his phone, and then projecting from his phone so his ancestors can see.

A redrawing of a famous photo of a police sargeant casually pepper spraying into the faces of peacefull, sitting protesters. His actions became a popular meme. This is further illustrated by having him added to other scenes. This is illustrated by inserting him and his action into a painting of the signing of the US bill of rights, which he is casually pepper spraying.
Two collanders. The first is catching a stream of phrases and letting a few through, while an inverted one underneath turns the thin stream of phrases into richer, contextual information.
