Welcome to JMU Team Climbing, we are a subgroup of JMU Club Climbing. We compete in USAC Collegiate Level Competitions in the Mid-Atlantic Division, we host tryouts to build a team of dedicated climbers who strive to get better at the sport. How to join
Tryouts are open to all JMU Club Climbing Members at the start of every Fall semester, tryouts will test your strength, problem solving, and passion for the sport. Team members will then be selected by the Coach & Assistant Coach and will remain on the team for the calendar school year, until next tryouts are held.
Requirements
Separate dues from Club
Attendance at all training and practices.
Obtain a USA Climbing Membership
Maintain consistency in your training
What we do
Strength Training weekly
Climbing Practice weekly
Compete in both recreational and USAC Collegiate Competitions
Follow Training Plans
