2022 - 2026: Distinction with Level 1 in the National System of Researchers (SNI, CONACyT, Mexico).
I completed my Ph.D in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Universidad de Chile, under the supervision of Mario Penna and the co-supervision of Claudio Soto Azat and Marco A. Méndez. Previously, I obtained a Master's degree in Ecology supervised by Gonzalo Halffter at Institute of Ecology A.C. To graduate, I did an investigation supervised by Cesar Berlanga-Robles. But it was during undergraduate attending an international course about Amphibians Conservation organized by Virginia Graue-Wiechers ✝ in UAM Xochimilco, that I became interested in the reproductive ecology of amphibians and its conservation.
