My name is José Manuel Guevara Vela, and I am a computational chemist with a decade of experience in using simulations to study chemical reactions, molecular interactions, and related fields. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Oviedo. I have completed postdoctoral research stays at the Institute of Chemistry-UNAM in Mexico and at the IMDEA Materials in Madrid, Spain.

Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the Autonomous University of Madrid. My research focuses on utilizing computational methods to explore chemical bonding. I am passionate about studying non-conventional bonding patterns and other non-covalent interactions.
