My name is José Manuel Guevara Vela and I am a computational chemist with 10 years of experience in the use of simulations for the study of chemical reactions, molecular interactions, and other related fields. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Oviedo. I completed postdoctoral stays at the Institute of Chemistry-UNAM in Mexico and the IMDEA Materials in Madrid, Spain.

Currently, I am an assistant professor of Chemistry at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where I am involved in research that focuses on utilizing computational methods to explore chemical bonding. His research has been published in various scientific journals, including Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, Chemistry-A European Journal, and the Journal of Chemical Physics. I am passionate about exploring the significance of hydrogen bonding and other non-covalent interactions and contributing to the expanding knowledge in this field.
