Hello everyone!! I am a longtime resident of Merrimack having moved here from PA when I was just 1 in ‘86. I attended JMES, Merrimack Middle and High School. My mother was always involved in the school as a room parent and volunteer for both my brothers and myself. I always knew when I had kids whether I was a stay at home mom or not that I needed to be involved. I am a full time working mom who has somehow found time to volunteer. This year I will have a 2nd grader and a 3 year old in MEEP. This means I will be around for a while longer . The PATT welcomed me in, founds ways to help me volunteer that worked with my schedule, and always made sure to get my opinion at meetings. It really is such an amazing feeling to walk through the halls of a school attended and be able to give back as well as be there for my kids.

As a transplant to Merrimack I was looking for a way to get involved with my child's school and community! Originally from Buffalo NY, my husband and I have been Merrimack residents for 12 years. It wasn't until having kids at Mastricola Elementary that I found a wonderful and exciting way to get involved! I have three kids in the building this year, a fourth grader, a third grader, and last but not least a kindergartner! This will be my 5th year working with the PATT. Over the years I have learned what it means to be part of an amazing school community! The teachers and Staff at MES are exceptional, and I feel it's a great honor to get to work with them for the betterment of our children.
I have many fond memories of the PATT group here at MES; what helped get me involved my first year was FIELD DAY!! I had no clue what the PATT was or what they did. I just saw a flyer that said volunteers were needed for Field Day stations! It was very exciting to see all the different ways parents could get involved and be an intricate part of their child's school days! Another program that is near and dear to my heart is the WEE Deliver program. For those of you who don't know what that is, our WEE Deliver program is a program designed to show our second grade classes how the postal service works! At one time it was held in schools across America. I am proud to say we are one of a handful of schools in New Hampshire that still offer it to our students and it is because of our parent volunteers and our PATT organization that we can!
I am excited to see our returning friends and get to know all of our new families!
Cheers to a great school year!
