A city where ancient history meets a vibrant, modern cultural scene, Yerevan offers visitors a unique blend of tradition and creativity. As one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, it’s rich with archaeological landmarks, museums, and architecture that tell stories of centuries past. At the same time, Yerevan is home to a lively arts scene, with frequent classical concerts, jazz evenings, and contemporary exhibitions. We warmly encourage you to explore its charming streets, enjoy the local cuisine, and take in the spirit of a city that continues to inspire scholars, artists, and thinkers alike.
There are several ways to reach the city from Zvartnots International Airport:
The official airport taxi service is available just outside the arrivals hall.
Online taxi apps such as Yandex Go and GG Taxi operate in Yerevan. Both are available on Google Play and the App Store, and can be used to order a ride upon arrival.
Public Bus No. 100 connects the airport with the city center. The fare is 500 AMD, and the schedule can be found on the official airport website.
The ride to downtown Yerevan usually takes 20–30 minutes, and typical taxi fares range from 2,000–4,000 AMD.
The School will take place at Yerevan State University (1 Alex Manoogian Street, Yerevan). Sessions will be held in the main building, on the 5th floor, in the Scientific Conference Hall.
