Kernel density estimation of 549 Western Pacific tropical cyclone tracks within the Philippine Area of Responsibility, based on IBTrACS v4.01 data. Track lines are categorized by maximum intensity using the Saffir-Simpson scale, with Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan, 2013) and Typhoon Pablo (Bopha, 2012) highlighted as reference events.

Terrain visualizations of two of the Philippines' most ecologically significant protected areas: Mt. Apo Natural Park (Mindanao) and Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park (Luzon). Elevation data from the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM GL3, 90m) is rendered with hillshading to emphasize relief, peak locations, and protected area boundaries.

Climatological mean annual rainfall (1981-2010) mapped at national and island scale, derived from WorldClim 2.1 gridded climate data. Together the maps illustrate how monsoon patterns and orographic effects drive strong spatial gradients in precipitation, with eastern Mindanao among the wettest regions in the country.

Flood hazard classification and population exposure surface for the Metro Manila-Cavite corridor, based on UP NOAH's 100-year return period inundation data (left). Population exposure (right) was estimated by weighting WorldPop 2020 population counts against hazard class values, producing a normalized 0-100 score where higher values reflect both greater flood severity and higher population density.
