I am interested in the dynamics of brain activity at network-level. In particular, how activity can propagate reliably and flexibly, and how multiple circuits interact.

During my PhD and first postdoc, I studied reptile brains, from cortical dynamics in turtles to multi-area coordination during lizard sleep, to extract general principles of brain function from an evolutionary perspective. My current postdoc explores how multi-area dynamics evolve during motor learning.
