Privacy Policy for JLPT Grammar Drill
Last updated: 4 June 2026
JLPT Grammar Drill ("the app") is developed and published by Rio Otomo ("we," "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Data we collect: none.
JLPT Grammar Drill does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising.
On-device processing
The app includes a speaking-practice feature that uses your device's speech recognition to transcribe what you say. This processing happens entirely on your device. Your voice audio and transcriptions are not sent to us or to any third party, and are not stored after a practice item is scored.
Your study progress and review schedule are saved only on your device. We have no access to this information.
Permissions
The app requests microphone and speech recognition access solely to power the speaking-practice feature. You can decline these permissions and continue using the grammar and particle drills. You can change permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Purchases
The app offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock all content. Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Children's privacy
The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.
