About Us

With 22 years of military service, I understand the challenges of transitioning to civilian life. Our mission began with a commitment to support our family and use our talents to help those in need. We started by assisting homeowners in rehabilitating or selling distressed properties, creating safe homes and increasing housing availability. These projects evolved into rental properties that now
support our community's health and medical needs.

To address the growing issue of homelessness, we founded J & L Property Transformations LLC, which led to the establishment of our dba, J & L Community Living. Our housing communities provide safe, supportive environments for individuals facing homelessness and housing insecurity.

With seven years of hospitality experience and a background in government service, we have the skills and resources to tackle the current housing and financial crisis. Our homes offer more than shelter; they foster a community built by our residents, team, and partners. 

We are a Christian-based transitional housing provider. We provide clean, safe, and affordable sober-living housing. Our community partnerships allow our clients to received services that may include case management, transportation, counseling, and financial resources. Our goal is to help community members regain independence and find belonging.

Guided by our core values of Trust, Respect, Empathy, and Pride of Ownership, we believe in the transformative power of community housing. By offering transitional housing rooted in these values, we aim to empower our clients and enrich their lives.
