If you want true wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation, multipoint connectivity, and an IP55 sweatproof rating for high-intensity movement, choose JLab JBuds ANC 3; if you need massive battery life, over-ear comfort, and a wired fallback option for long listening sessions, choose iTouch Pulse Vibe PRO.
• JLab JBuds ANC 3: Offers a compact, secure in-ear design with IP55 protection against sweat and dust, making it ideal for active users who need to stay connected without bulk. The trade-off is the smaller form factor which limits physical button control and lacks a wired audio mode. Best for: Cyclists and athletes needing a lightweight, weather-resistant fit.
• iTouch Pulse Vibe PRO: Delivers massive 63-hour battery life and plush over-ear comfort with a foldable design that prioritizes portability for travel or office use. The trade-off is its larger size, heavier weight (246g), and lack of an official sweatproof rating compared to the JLab model. Best for: Commuters and travelers who prioritize endurance and passive isolation over active durability.
The JLab JBuds ANC 3 is engineered for people who refuse to compromise on mobility. This isn't a headphone you wear while sitting still; it is a tool designed to move with you. The specification sheet highlights an IP55 rating, which explicitly protects the unit against sweat, rain, and dust. This makes it a logical choice for anyone pushing their body through varied conditions, from humid summer rides to rainy commutes. The in-ear placement with rounded tips ensures a secure fit that stays put even when your head bobs or turns quickly. If you are looking for the best wireless bone conduction headphones for cycling or any activity where you need your ears open to the world but still want sound, this design philosophy hits the mark by keeping ambient awareness possible while delivering audio.

Battery performance here is impressive for a pair of earbuds. You get 9+ hours per charge, totaling 42+ hours with the case. Even when you engage the Active Noise Cancellation, you still pull 34+ hours of total playtime. This longevity means you can cover nearly a full work week on a single charge cycle. The inclusion of Bluetooth 5.2 and multipoint connectivity allows you to seamlessly switch between your phone and laptop without re-pairing, a crucial feature for cyclists who might need to answer a call from one device while receiving notifications on another. The smart ANC system offers three modes—ANC On, Be Aware, and ANC Off—giving you total control over how much of the outside world you let in. For safety-conscious riders, the "Be Aware" mode is essential, allowing you to hear traffic while still enjoying your music.
However, this product is not for everyone. If you prefer large, cushioned ear cups that completely seal off the environment, these earbuds will feel too exposed. There is no wired AUX mode listed, meaning if the battery dies, you cannot listen via cable. Furthermore, the controls are touch-based rather than physical buttons, which some users find less precise during vigorous movement. The build is plastic, which keeps it light but may not appeal to those seeking a premium metal feel. Ultimately, the JLab JBuds ANC 3 is for the person who values freedom of movement, weather resistance, and smart features over raw power and physical bulk.
The iTouch Pulse Vibe PRO takes a different approach entirely, focusing on immersion and endurance. As over-ear headphones, they utilize soft protein-leather ear cushions and an adjustable stainless-steel headband to create a comfortable seal for extended periods. This design is perfect for long-haul commuters, office workers, or anyone who needs to block out the world for hours without fatigue. The closed-back design provides significant sound isolation, which complements the Active Noise Cancellation that reduces background noise up to -20dB. While the JLab relies on transparency modes for situational awareness, the iTouch relies on physical sealing and electronic cancellation to create a quiet bubble.
The standout feature here is undoubtedly the battery life. With a 500mAh battery, you get up to 63 hours of playback with ANC off and 41 hours with it on. This is a level of endurance that earbuds simply cannot match. The fast USB-C charging time of just 1.5 to 2 hours ensures you spend very little time tethered to a wall. Additionally, the inclusion of a 3.5mm AUX jack and hybrid wireless technology offers flexibility that the JLab lacks. If your battery ever runs dry, you can plug in and keep listening. The Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity supports dual-device pairing, allowing you to maintain connections with two devices simultaneously, ensuring you never miss a notification whether you are on your phone or computer.
There are clear trade-offs to this massive capability. The unit weighs 246 grams, which is significantly heavier than the JLab earbuds. This added mass can become noticeable during high-movement activities like running or intense cycling. The foldable design helps with packing, but the overall footprint is much larger. This product is best for someone who wants the "best gaming headset for cycling" style comfort but primarily uses them for stationary or low-impact travel, or perhaps for casual riding where speed and wind resistance are not concerns.
• Best for Battery Life → iTouch Pulse Vibe PRO (63 hours total vs 42 hours).
• Best for Weather Resistance → JLab JBuds ANC 3 (IP55 rated for sweat/dust vs none listed).
• Best for Active Movement → JLab JBuds ANC 3 (Lightweight in-ear vs 246g over-ear).
• Best for Wired Fallback → iTouch Pulse Vibe PRO (Includes 3.5mm AUX jack vs Wireless only).
• Best for Safety Awareness → JLab JBuds ANC 3 (Dedicated "Be Aware" pass-through mode).
• Best for Comfort Seal → iTouch Pulse Vibe PRO (Protein-leather over-ear cushioning).
• Best for Multipoint Use → Both support dual-device pairing, but JLab adds Google Fast Pair for Android ease.
• Best Value for Travelers → iTouch Pulse Vibe PRO (Foldable, massive battery, wired backup).
I would personally buy the JLab JBuds ANC 3 for my daily routine, especially because I ride a bicycle regularly. The IP55 rating and the ability to switch to "Be Aware" mode are non-negotiable for safety and durability on the road. While the iTouch Pulse Vibe PRO offers superior battery life and a more immersive sound experience due to its over-ear design, the weight and lack of sweat protection make it impractical for active use. For a cyclist, the JLab's balance of security, weather resistance, and smart connectivity makes it the clear winner. If you are strictly looking for the best wireless bone conduction headphones for cycling—or rather, the best secure, sweatproof wireless headset for cycling—the JLab JBuds ANC 3 is the only logical choice. The iTouch is a fantastic headphone for the couch or the train, but the JLab is built for the road.
They carry an IP55 rating, which means they are protected against sweat, rain, and dust, making them suitable for workouts and commuting, though they are not fully submersible.
The specifications list a 63-hour average life and fast charging capabilities, but do not explicitly detail a specific LED battery percentage indicator in the provided data sheet.
The JLab JBuds ANC 3 is the safer choice due to its explicit IP55 sweat and dustproof rating, whereas the iTouch Pulse Vibe PRO does not list a similar water-resistance certification.
