About Me

Hello and welcome, 

My name is Julie and I live in Ottawa Ontario with my three teenagers and husband. 

My pottery journey began with lessons through the city in 2020. I loved learning the craft, but when the prices increased for studio time with the City, I decided to take a leap and set up a small home studio. Since my kiln is quite small, I embraced the challenge of creating small things,  this is where my little Pottery ghost came to life. 

One day, while experimenting, I took a tiny cup I had made, turned it upside down, trimmed it, and gave it a pair of eyes. To my delight, a little ghost emerged! It was whimsical, playful, and full of character. That moment sparked my passion for creating these charming ghost figurines, and they’ve become a signature part of my work. There are so many possibilities I just love it!
