I pray to Allah (SWT) to grant us Towfiq and blessings for a successful year.
On behalf of the staff at Ottawa Islamic School, I am so excited to meet all of you! This will be an exciting year filled with lots of new friends, adventures, and learning. I look forward to growing alongside your child!
In this classroom, your child is cared about, appreciated, and valued. My goal is to encourage them to be the best person he/she can be and support them in every way. I promise to do my best to help them learn and grow both inside the classroom and outside the classroom. I believe in my student's wonderful gifts, strengths, and talents. You are unique and wonderful Mashaa Allah !
We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:
Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience
Practice the Quran with them every night to develop a love of the Quran and improve recitation
Repeat what was assigned in class so that they keep progressing to the next level
The wonderful OIS staff and I feel privileged to be a part of this school family. We thank you for your support and look forward to meeting you all.
