JAYA JUMRANI

Hi, thanks for visiting my webpage. I am a Senior Scientist at the ICAR - National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NIAP), New Delhi, India. My research lies at the intersection of food policy, agricultural economics and development policy. I have been working in the broad research areas of food and nutritional security, agricultural growth and modelling, and impact assessment. I am also a mentor for the Association for Mentoring and Inclusion in Economics (AMIE)'s 2024-25 mentoring cohort. 

I have received my Ph.D. in Economics and Master's degree in Economics from the Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. I am a graduate of Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi where I completed my B.A. (Honours) degree in Economics. Before entering academia, I was employed with a business daily and a regulatory authority in New Delhi, India. My recent CV is available here.
