I learned a lot since this picture. One thing is not to wear flip flops when woodworking(duh!). Get a decent work bench and not use old side tables. .
My son did a great job at holding the wood
My Daughter came out to join the building process.
Dry fitting the frame to see how it fits in the corner.
Getting the plywood on for the bottom and top.
My son helping nail some of the finishing touches on the mudroom bench. He loved that nail gun.
Got some new toys a few days after building the bench. My son and I decided to use them to build our next project.
Just a quick afternoon build to keep the kids cool on a hot June day in Texas.
I beefed up the sprinkler run through in the summer of 2019. I made it wide enough for bikes, big wheels, and a Little Tykes slide. The duct tape was from me breaking some of the sprinklers and me not having enough. I did eventually get extras and I have to keep it on the lowest faucet setting or the backyard floods in 10 minutes. Needles to say, there is enough water that comes out of it. Made this after church in a few hours. The next time I build one this big, I will put supports in the middle that don't have sprinklers.
