24 - 25 सितंबर, 2025 को राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण विकास एवं पंचायती राज संस्थान (NIRD&PR), हैदराबाद में आयोजित दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी का उद्घाटन आज श्री सुशील कुमार लोहानी, अपर सचिव, पंचायती राज मंत्रालय ने किया। इस संगोष्ठी में राज्य ग्रामीण विकास एवं पंचायती राज प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों (SIRD&PRs) के निदेशक और राज्य पंचायती राज विभागों के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी एवं राज्य पंचायत संसाधन केंद्रों (SPRCs) के प्रतिनिधि भाग ले रहे हैं।

संगोष्ठी में क्षमता निर्माण और प्रशिक्षण (CB&T) के लक्ष्यों और उपलब्धियों की समीक्षा, प्रशिक्षण के विशेष क्षेत्रों पर ध्यान, #RGSA के तहत पंचायती राज संस्थाओं की क्षमता निर्माण प्रणाली को मजबूत करने के लिए नई पहल, और विभिन्न प्रशिक्षण घटकों के मुख्य प्रदर्शन संकेतकों (KPIs) पर प्रगति पर विचार-विमर्श किया जाएगा।

पंचायती राज मंत्रालय, NIRD&PR के स्कूल ऑफ एक्सीलेंस इन पंचायती राज (#SoEPR) के सहयोग से इस संगोष्ठी का आयोजन कर रहा है। उद्घाटन सत्र में श्री सुशील कुमार लोहानी, अपर सचिव, पंचायती राज मंत्रालय ने मुख्य भाषण देते हुए SIRD&PRS की संस्थागत क्षमता बढ़ाने के लिए केंद्रित पहलों और समन्वित प्रयासों पर जोर दिया। इस सत्र में श्री विपुल उज्जवल, निदेशक, पंचायती राज मंत्रालय, डॉ. अंजन कुमार भंजा, एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर एवं प्रमुख, CPRDP & SSD, NIRD&PR और डॉ. आर. चिन्नादुरई, एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर, CPRDP & SSD, NIRD&PR ने भी भाग लिया।

The NIRDPR-National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, in collaboration with the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, hosted the National Level Training of Trainers on Model Youth Gram Sabha (MYGS) on 11–12 September 2025.

During this event, trainers were empowered to promote youth involvement in Gram Sabha activities and participatory governance.

Generation and Mobilisation of Own Source Revenue for Gram Panchayats

NIRDPR-National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj organised Training of Trainers on “Generation and Mobilisation of Own Source Revenue for Gram Panchayats”

The School of Excellence in Panchayati Raj, NIRDPR, successfully conducted two back-to-back Training of Trainers programmes from 8th to 10th September 2025 in Hyderabad.

Batch I and Batch II brought together participants from across states to strengthen the capacity of Gram Panchayats in mobilising and generating their own source revenue.

The sessions focused on:

Enhancing local revenue mobilisation strategies

Strengthening the financial autonomy of Gram Panchayats

Building sustainable frameworks for local governance

Through these ToTs, NIRDPR continues its efforts to empower Panchayati Raj Institutions with practical skills and knowledge for effective local self-governance.
